BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – A 22-year-old Midfield man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery that occurred earlier this month in Birmingham.
According to the Birmingham Police Department, Romeo D’Anthony Williams, 22, has been charged with Robbery First Degree.
The robbery occurred on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026, in the 1500 block of Five Acre Road.
Investigators said Williams allegedly displayed a firearm during the robbery. The victim was not injured.
Arrested Without Incident
Following an investigation, Birmingham police located Williams on Thursday, Aug. 6, in the 800 block of Lakeshore Parkway.
He was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Jefferson County Jail at approximately 11:33 p.m.
Williams remains in custody at the Jefferson County Jail without bond as the case moves through the court system.
