DOTHAN, Ala. — A Dothan man is being held without bond after narcotics investigators seized a large quantity of fentanyl, cash, and firearms while executing search warrants at two residences.
According to the Dothan Police Department, investigators received information from multiple sources that an individual was selling fentanyl from residences on Blue Bird Drive and Ozark Street.
The investigation quickly led detectives to obtain search warrants for both locations.
On June 22, narcotics investigators executed the warrants and recovered approximately 66 grams of powdered fentanyl, about $14,000 in U.S. currency, and two handguns.
Police arrested 24-year-old Thomas Tabriz Holston Jr. of Dothan.
Holston has been charged with Drug Trafficking – Fentanyl and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
He was booked into the Houston County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
Investigators said additional charges are possible as the investigation continues.
The Dothan Police Department thanked community members who provided information that helped initiate the investigation.
“Our police department is more efficient when the community partners with us to reduce and eradicate crime,” the department said.
