BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Two men have been arrested and charged with capital murder in connection with a double homicide that occurred earlier this month in Birmingham.
According to the Birmingham Police Department, 25-year-old Jaylon Hicks of Fultondale and 19-year-old Tarvarius Thomas of Birmingham have each been charged with Capital Murder involving two or more victims.
The charges stem from the June 4 killings of Bernard Watts and Diandra Johnson.
Police said the victims were found in the 100 block of Holley Avenue in Birmingham.
Investigators located Hicks and Thomas in the 1400 block of 19th Place Southwest, where both suspects were taken into custody without incident.
The two men were transported to the Jefferson County Jail, where they are being held without bond.
The investigation remains ongoing.
