Seven Arrested After Drug Raid in Zip City Uncovers Fentanyl, Methamphetamine

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala. — Seven people were arrested following a drug raid in the Zip City community that investigators say uncovered fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, and evidence of narcotics distribution.

According to the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force, agents executed a search warrant on June 12, 2026, at a residence located at 8375 Highway 17 in the Zip City area of Lauderdale County.

The Florence/Lauderdale County Special Operations Team assisted in serving the warrant, which investigators obtained as part of an investigation into alleged drug-dealing activity involving one of the home’s occupants.

During the search, agents reported finding fentanyl, methamphetamine commonly known as “ice,” marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and what investigators described as a significant amount of evidence indicating both drug use and distribution.

Authorities said seven individuals were present at the property when law enforcement arrived. All seven were arrested on various drug-related charges.

Multiple Suspects Face Drug Charges

Among those arrested was 39-year-old Andrea Sue Conner of Zip City, who was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of fentanyl, possession of drug paraphernalia, and second-degree possession of marijuana.

Also arrested was 39-year-old Matthew Brian McKinney of Zip City, who faces charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of fentanyl, possession of drug paraphernalia, and second-degree possession of marijuana.

49-year-old Sabrina Faye Zills of Zip City was charged with possession of fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia.

37-year-old Kristopher Keith McCravy of Florence was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance involving methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and second-degree possession of marijuana.

31-year-old Kelli Brooke Brewer of Cypress Inn, Tennessee, was charged with second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

38-year-old John Lewis Decker of Sacramento, Kentucky, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and obstructing justice by providing a false name.

37-year-old Nia Marie Young of Nortonville, Kentucky, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting arrest.

The Lauderdale County Drug Task Force was assisted during the investigation by the Florence Police Department, Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office, Lauderdale County District Attorney’s Office, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
